Joined the Essex Shore on 27-12-1973 but left the next day to join the Petrel Shore. The personnel manager must have been juggling crew around to cover all options. I didn’t know how long I would be on the Essex Shore so signed on with an entry in my Discharge book.
So it was back to the Petrel Shore again but only for three days before the Marine Superintendent came calling for me. The next day i was on my way to the Pacific Shore.
Have good memories of this supply vessel running out of Great Yarmouth in 1975
