Sealion Shipping Ltd was originally established in 1975 by Martin Barraclough who was previously a director with Silver Line. He started with the Carrick Kestrel, a small chemical tanker and eventually built the fleet up to seven small tankers. Sealion then became managers, managing the new TNT supply ships.
TNT bought out Sealion and in turn were bought out by a Greek shipowner named Gregory Callimanopulos and became Toisa.
After Toisa took over and after I left the company expanded out of all recognition building hi tech offshore ships of all descriptions.
