MV Cromarty Shore
Joined the Cromarty Shore in Gijon, Spain after having driven there in my car and ferry to Santander along with my Spanish girlfriend. Joined four days before Christmas in 1975. Completed 7 tours until 15-08-1977 mostly in North Spain, Mediterranean Spain, Portugal and the North Sea.
After missing a trip I joined again on the Tyne in December 1977 and completed another six tours in the North Sea, leaving at the end of May 1979.
Played an important part in my life. Lots of sea miles, lots of good shipmates, lots of memories, especially the time in Spain. Some rig shifts, tows and anchor work, all the things expected of an ahts vessel.
