The old Kent Service, originally Kent Shore was one of the original North Sea supply vessels. The bridge layout was poor and the bow thruster, hopelessly underpowered, was controlled by an old ship’s telegraph position beyond the reach of the main engine controls. Definitely making control of the ship awkward and dangerous.
Joined in Lowestoft 07-05-84 and and glad to leave three weeks later in Great Yarmouth.
