MV Toisa Gryphon

Just two weeks on this vessel, joined in Great Yarmouth 14-04-1997 and left in Aberdeen 27-04-1997. I believe that I was filling in time as my regular ship, the Toisa Mariner, was homeward bound from Brazil.

Toisa Gryphon was renamed from the Toisa Lynx and was a sister ship to the Toisa Cougar. Underpowered ships with large funnels and accommodation which caught the wind and making manoeuvring a problem.
